Garie Beach

Garie Beach

This impressive, expansive bay is situated in Royal National Park, around 50 kilometres south of Sydney, meaning you really do need a car to access it. As soon as you step foot onto its lush sand, however, you will agree that it is worth the trek.

Large, sweeping hills cloaked in rainforest gullies surround the white sand, giving pristine views from the Governor Game lookout. Abounding in surfing, fishing, and bird and whale watching opportunities, Garie Beach merits a day trip at least to fully enjoy all it has to offer.
