The Art Gallery of NSW

The Art Gallery of NSW is one of Australia’s most notable cultural institutions. The gallery was established in 1880, and features artwork from the 18th Century onwards. As you walk in, you’ll be greeted with a cloak room service and concierge to buy tickets to special exhibitions. Special exhibitions will cost you, but most of the gallery can be viewed for free. There are traditional Australian and international artworks, including works from Van Gogh and Monet. Venture down the elevator and past the restaurant and café to find the contemporary art exhibitions that are rotated on a regular basis.
